Our specific bone ash product results from roasting bone, previously stripped of its gelatin, at temperatures reaching approximately 1100° C. Following the roasting, the material is cooled and then finely ground, ensuring that at least 95% of the particles can pass through a 325-mesh U.S. Standard sieve (or a 20-mesh sieve for the 20-mesh grade). The notable characteristics of bone ash are linked to the internal configuration of its small, discrete particles. The bone's original cellular makeup is maintained throughout the process, which imparts high resistance to heat transfer, making it an effective natural thermal insulator.
